THE TASTING ROOM, MAX’S WINE DIVE AND TEXAS MONTHLY PRESENT THE 2007 HOUSTON CELLAR CLASSIC: A CELEBRATION OF WINE AND FOOD
Houston – Houston wine and food lovers, mark your calendars for October 29th through November 4th! That’s when The Tasting Room, TTR Gourmet, MAX’s Wine Dive and Texas Monthly proudly present the 2007 “Houston Cellar Classic: A Celebration of Wine and Food.” The culinary extravaganza, Houston’s first week-long celebration dedicated exclusively to the love of fine wine and food, will take place at multiple locations throughout the city.
“For the past few years we’ve hosted the Cellar Classic, a one-day event, at TTR Uptown Park,” said Jonathan Horowitz, partner in The Tasting Room / MAX’s Wine Dive concepts. “This year, our goal is to create the City of Houston’s premier, nationally-recognized wine and food event. We’re thrilled to have Texas Monthly join us in this effort and are excited about the potential for the Houston Cellar Classic to become one of the country’s best annual wine and food events.”
Beginning Monday, October 29, and ending Sunday, November 4, the Houston Cellar Classic will feature more than 20 wine and food events, including wine tastings, celebrity chefs, wine and food pairing events, a Riedel crystal demonstration and tasting featuring Maximilian Riedel, sommelier competitions, wine dinners, gourmet food tastings, a farmer’s market and live music, along with incredibly low retail pricing on the greatest wines from around the world.
