Fresh Tagliarini with Fresh Tomatoes and Basil

2 pkgs. Fresh Tagliarini Pasta or fresh linguini

1 10 oz. jar of Barilla marinara

11/2 cups Roma tomatoes

2 T. fresh basil, chiffonade

1 T. fresh oregano, minced

1/4 cup Prego Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1 1/2 T. whole butter

Salt and Pepper to taste



1. Put on a pot of water and prepare to cook pasta following package instructions.

2. If making the other grilled items, continue to use grill, it gives a taste to the tomatoes.

3. Heat a large sauté pan on the grill until hot.

4. Add extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper.

5. Add the peeled Roma tomatoes, and garlic, caramelize slightly or until garlic gets golden brown.

6. Add basil, oregano, and whole butter.

7. Pour in the marinara and allow to caramelize.

8. Boil pasta using package instructions and strain.

9. Shake off excess water.

10. Toss pasta in sauce and serve immediately

11. Finish with grated Grana Padano cheese or Parmigiano Reggiano.
