• “My husband and I had an amazing experience at your restaurant last night. It was our first time here, and we did not know what to expect. Wow! Beginning with excellent service by Casey. This young man was engaging, knowledgeable about the wine and the menu and provided service usually found in restaurants requiring jackets! All of the staff were dressed nicely, and were very pleasant, by the way – really added to the ambiance. We selected the hummus duo – what a treat! For the main course, my husband selected the delicious and different quail pizza with a St. Arnold brew and I had the petite sirloin accompanied by the menu suggested wine (also recommended by Casey) – great choices all around. The tender steak was med/rare just as I asked and the surrounding sauce and vegetables were delicious. As we sat in your beautiful dining room below the wall of wine, enjoying our meal as the sun set over the lake and listening to the soothing voice and acoustics of the musician, we recognized that The Tasting Room will more than likely become one of our favorite haunts. We usually drive into Houston for this type of experience… you’re just down the street! What a delight!
